Servia, Hinchcliffe set to test for NHR at Sebring

As rumored, Newman-Haas Racing is going testing on Dec. 13-14 at Sebring International Raceway in Florida. And as rumored, Firestone Indy Lights fan favorite James Hinchcliffe will be doing some of the test work.

But this morning’s press release from the eight-time Indy-car racing champions has another driver coming to the test — former NHR pilot Oriol Servia. According to the release, both Hinchcliffe and Servia will be testing on each day.

Servia has been out of IndyCar since 2009, when he ran the Indianapolis 500 in a one-off for Rahal Letterman Racing and then went to NHR for four races in the second half of that season. Meanwhile, Hinchcliffe is coming off a 2010 campaign that saw him finish runner-up in the FIL title chase with three wins along the way at Long Beach, Edmonton and Chicagoland.
