The IZOD IndyCar Series offseason has featured plenty of news on the much-hyped 2012 campaign, but there’s also lots to look forward to in 2011.
In addition to a bolstered lineup of American drivers on the grid, 2011 will see the series also visit multiple new markets and take part in the 100th anniversary of the Indianapolis 500. It should make for a season full of interesting storylines outside what’s expected to be another fight for the championship between Team Penske and Target Chip Ganassi Racing.
