Will Power wins Baltimore Grand Prix

Will Power is now on Dario Franchitti’s rear wing for the IZOD IndyCar Series championship. The Team Penske driver has been hacking away sizeable chunks of the Scotsman’s lead over the last three races, and today, he took another big bite with a victory from the pole position in the inaugural Baltimore Grand Prix.

With the victory, Power chopped Franchitti’s lead down to five points heading into the next race later this month at Twin Ring Motegi in Japan. Franchitti finished fourth behind Power, Oriol Servia and Tony Kanaan on Sunday. Franchitti’s teammate, Scott Dixon, rounded out the top five.
