The INDYCAR world championship weekend at Auto Club Speedway begins today as both Firestone Indy Lights and IZOD IndyCar Series competitors prepare for their respective season finales tomorrow on the two-mile oval outside Los Angeles.
Here’s how the Friday schedule looks. You’ll notice that on the IZOD IndyCar side, their first practice of the day has been pushed to 90 minutes.
FIRESTONE INDY LIGHTS
Practice One: 12:45-1:30 pm ET
Qualifying: 4-5 pm ET
Practice Two: 7:45-8:30 pm ET
IZOD INDYCAR SERIES
Practice One: 1:45-3:15 pm ET
Qualifying: 5:15-6:45 pm ET
Practice Two: 8:45-9:30 pm ET
