Silent Pagoda’s Roy Hobbson now on Versus.com
If you follow the IndyCar blogosphere, then you know of IndyCar.com’s Silent Pagoda blog. It’s not a traditional news blog, but one with a more comedic take on the happenings in and around the IZOD IndyCar Series. Please keep in mind that by comedic, we don’t mean good-natured and family-friendly. No, the posts on the Pagoda often degenerate into gloriously crude, sarcastic, and pop culture reference-laden diatribes that leave people either in shock or stitches (usually both).
Of course, IndyCar.com makes sure to put a black box on the front page with the words, ‘The Silent Pagoda does not reflect the views of the IZOD IndyCar Series.’ Smart move on their part.
Anyway, the Pagoda’s main writer, Roy Hobbson, will now have an additional, new gig on his hands. The folks at Versus.com have given Hobbson his own “mailbag” column in which fans like you can submit questions, comments and such for him to answer. If you read his work on the Pagoda regularly, then you know that this new Versus.com column could turn out to be really, really awesome.
