Here’s a pretty good lesson in sponsor activation from 7-Eleven. Tony Kanaan’s backer has teamed up with Blip.tv to create a series on their “7-Eleven Road Trip Rally,” which has two teams of drivers (in cars wrapped with 7-Eleven/IRL graphics) driving from opposite coasts in a race to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway — all while completing challenges along the way and stopping exclusively at 7-Eleven stores for food and fuel.
