Alex Lloyd suiting up for Brazil

The second Dale Coyne Racing entry — the No. 19 Boy Scouts of America entry — will be driven by former Firestone Indy Lights champion Alex Lloyd at Sunday’s Sao Paulo Indy 300. A short article on IndyCar.com reports that DCR will have “a more formal announcement” in two weeks at St. Petersburg, Florida during the Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg weekend.

Lloyd, the 2007 FIL king, raced in last year’s Indianapolis 500 (Chip Ganassi/Sam Schmidt) and season finale at Homestead-Miami (Newman/Haas/Lanigan). He’ll be teammates with Milka Duno, who will drive DCR’s No. 18 car in a full-time capacity.
