After being forced to drive for multiple squads on a part-time schedule in 2010, Graham Rahal (above, earlier this year at Mid-Ohio) will be a full-time driver for next year’s IZOD IndyCar Series championship.

TBC Retail Group, a tire and automotive retail company that does business under a variety of brands (Service Central, Tire Kingdom, National Tire and Battery, Merchant’s Tire and Auto Centers, and Big O Tires), announced today at Homestead-Miami Speedway that they’ve signed Rahal to a sponsorship and spokesperson agreement — which includes primary sponsorship of a car for the next two seasons.

As for where Rahal and the TBC sponsorship will land, a team is expected to be announced within the next few weeks.

Rahal has driven for Sarah Fisher Racing (St. Petersburg, Barber and Long Beach), Rahal Letterman Racing (Indy 500), Dreyer and Reinbold Racing (Iowa), and Newman/Haas Racing (Toronto, Mid-Ohio, Infineon, Chicagoland, Motegi and Homestead-Miami) this year. His best finish in 2010 is currently a fifth-place effort at Toronto in July.
