Panther-Wheldon lawsuit resolved

One day after word broke that former Indy 500 and IZOD IndyCar Series champion Dan Wheldon was suing his current team, Panther Racing, over unpaid wages in Marion County (Ind.) Circuit Court, both sides have resolved the matter according to Curt Cavin of the Indianapolis Star.

Both Cavin and IMS Radio Network reporter Kevin Lee (who both work together on WFNI-AM’s “Trackside” radio show) are also reporting that there’s still a possibility that Wheldon may return to Panther next season. Rumors have persisted that the British racer may be taking his services elsewhere in 2011.
