More IndyCar testing set for Monday

IZOD IndyCar Series testing fires back up tomorrow with two sessions of note in California.

The major one is a 13-driver session (9 a.m. – 5 p.m. PT) being held at Infineon Raceway in Sonoma, which will feature both Chevrolet and Honda-powered squads. Once again, the session will be free and open to the public.

Here are the teams/drivers slated to test in Sonoma:

CHEVROLET
Andretti Autosport – Marco Andretti, Ryan Hunter-Reay and James Hinchcliffe
KV Racing Technology – E.J. Viso, Rubens Barrichello and Tony Kanaan
Team Penske – Helio Castroneves, Ryan Briscoe and Will Power

HONDA
Target Chip Ganassi Racing – Dario Franchitti and Scott Dixon
Chip Ganassi Racing/”G2″ – Graham Rahal and Charlie Kimball

Meanwhile, Ed Carpenter is slated to do a test session with his team (Chevrolet) out at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, site of this year’s season finale in September.
